Raiyo Nariman is the MD Asia for Angels Den, a company that exists to help entrepreneurs, start-ups and SME owners raise the capital required, to take their businesses into high growth.
Having recently built a strong network of angel and early stage investors in Hong Kong, Raiyo is now working to build out further operations in Asia, with the next two cities of focus being Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. Raiyo is currently also supporting the development and establishment of a regional angel network in the middle-east, in partnership with a group in Qatar, supported and chaired by the royal family of Qatar.
Raiyo specializes in commercialisation of technology and development and management of new and early stage ventures, working with shareholders to get technologies and start-ups ‘investment ready’, which involves understanding the company’s needs during its first few years of growth.
Beyond simply advising, he often takes a hands-on role, assisting with capital raising, establishing a ‘growth-focused’ culture, execution of the commercialisation strategy and stakeholder management.
